Rhian is the Executive Producer of Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, and part of the management team, since February 2016. She is responsible for the company’s productions, participation strategy and the production of its artistic development work. She started her career as a trainee Scriptwriter with Cyfle Ltd before joining BBC Wales Drama Department as a Script Editor, Writer and Storyliner for the longest running soap opera ‘Pobl y Cwm’. She then joined Tinopolis Independent TV Company as an Executive Producer, Director and Writer producing international co-productions, entertainment, music, animation, factual and fictional programmes. Rhian has previously been a Board Member for Hafan Cymru, a charitable housing association providing accommodation and support to women, men, their children and young people across Wales, and Carmarthen Domestic Abuse Society and is currently a Board Member with the Mess up the Mess Theatre Company for young people
