Hana Zanin Pauknerová

Hana Zanin Pauknerová (born 1975 in Pardubice) is the chairperson of the association and the artistic director of the „Ich bin O.K.“ dance studio. The native-born Czech completed a classical ballet education at the conservatory in Prague and studied dance pedagogy at the Folkwang School in Essen. She danced in various companies in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Switzerland and came to Vienna in 2009. Hana taught classical and contemporary dance as well as integrative dance at schools in Essen, Düsseldorf, London, Prag, Brünn, Moskau, Krefeld and Wuppertal. Since 2009, the dance pedagogue and choreographer serves as the chairperson of the association “Ich bin O.K.”, currently including over hundred members. In 2010 she – together with Attila Zanin – founded the “Ich bin O.K.”-Dance Company: dancers with a disability and advanced dance abilities collaborate with professional dancers without a disability and international choreographers as well as with various other artists for the creation of choreographies and dance theatre pieces.
