Ena Jagec was born on December 18, 1999. in Čakovec. She graduated from the Čakovec School of Buildings and Crafts, orientation media technician. She completed her undergraduate studies in Acting and Media at the Academy of Applied Arts at the University of Rijeka. She is currently on her second year of master degree in Non-verbal theater at the Academy of Arts and Culture of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek. In 2012, she started acting in theater at the Drama studio Dada, in the same year she joined the Strahoninec Primary School Film Group. iI 2016 on The “Festival of Festivals” in Trebinje she won award for the protagonist of the evening and the best lead the female role in the play “ZOO!” at the festival. She attended physical theater, improvisation, speech, mask, puppetry and dance workshops in Sarajevo, Belgrade, Varaždin and Čakovec. She has been involved in photography, video, film and animation for 10 years. He continues his independent work during his studies, so in 2019 she staged an independent performance “Hypnagogic Images”which is performed on the Small Stage of the Vinko Lisjak Culture Center Čakovec. In 2021, she goes to the artistic residence “Our House Has No Door” on Cres, where she sets up an audiovisual installation and performance “Pretapanja” with Klara Modrić and audio installation “Micelia” in collaboration with Peter Purg. Her documentary film “Eva, 16” was invited to Liburnia Film Festival in 2020. He is currently playing in a play by the Pinklec Theater Company (Drvljaci, director Vanja Jovanović, Ja (ne) pričam, director Romano Bogdan, Vuka se ne bojim ja, director Romano Bogdan and Footsteps in the mud, director Sarah Brigham). In 2022, she worked at the Istrian National Theater on the play “Istra ti mila materina” directed by Rok Olaf Pečečnik, and in 2023 she is working on the play “Novi Sotona” produced by Eurokaz and directed by Branko Brezovac. I mostly do physical theater and dance, stage movement, performance, experimental film and animation.
