Christian Senatore was born in Italy in 1995. At the age of 19, he left home to follow his dream and become a dancer. He first completed an intensive program in Reggio Emilia in northern Italy with Michele Merola, one of the most renowned teachers of contemporary dance in Italy. A year later he was accepted at the Codarts University for Dance in Rotterdam, where he studied for four years with and with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers.
In the last year of his training he got the chance to work as an apprentice for the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, one of the largest and most important companies in the Netherlands. This experience confirmed to him once more that his life’s work is and remains dance. Since this season Christian has been living and experiencing his first permanent engagement at the state theaters of Saxony.
