Angharad Jones Leefe

Executive Director

Angharad has been the Executive Director of Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru since 2016 and in 2022 became joint CEO. Before joining Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, Angharad worked for a Local Authority, focusing on economic development and regeneration, and worked on several ERDF funded projects.
Angharad is also a town councillor and a trustee of a local art gallery, Oriel Myrddin, and Creu Cymru, a network of professional performing arts organisations and individuals throughout Wales.

To achieve the aim of cultural inclusion it is essential to provide opportunities for young people to actively engage with different nationalities, cultures and social groups and to remain open to other people and life experiences.
