Ana Duša

She is dramaturg, songwriter, storyteller, pedagogue and manager of Storytelling Variety. She formed and mentored educational theatrical programs for disabled youth (Centre for education and rehabilitation Kamnik, 2010-12) and prisoners (Ig Prisoners 2010-13). In 2010-2014, she worked as a pedagogue for Roma teachers in cooperation with Kerinov Grm Kindergarten. Since 2010, she runs a storytelling school in co-organization with House of Literature, Reading and Storytelling Vodnikova domačija. She was one of artists-teachers in the Playground for Theatre programme, ran by leading Slovenian independent theatre production house Zavod Bunker, which focused on introducing performing arts to schools as a parallel/alternative learning method and it ran with full support of Slovenian Ministry of Culture. Since 2016, she has focused on theatre for young audiences and collaborated as dramaturg, songwriter, co-author and performer with Slovenian National Theatre Drama Ljubljana, Slovenian National Theatre Nova Gorica, Ljubljana City Theatre, Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Celje City Theatre, Miniteater and Imaginarni NGO, Divja misel/Vodnikova domačija NGO, Theatre for children Kragujevac, Srbija etc. She currently works as assistant professor at Faculty of Education (University of Ljubljana) and runs a new theatrical and public discourse program for teenagers at Mladinsko Theatre in Ljubljana.
