Ada Tayao

Senior Artist Teacher of PETA

Ada Tayao is a senior artist-teacher of PETA, the Philippine Educational Theater Association. She has been part of the company’s productions both onstage and backstage. She has also facilitated workshops for artistic development, for creative pedagogy, and for community development both locally and internationally. She is currently the company’s curriculum consultant for children’s theater courses.
Ada is also an independent singer-songwriter. She composes songs, and is one of the founding members of Isprikitik Improv, a Manila-based musical improvisation group.
Before pursuing her career as an artist-teacher, Ada was a full time elementary school teacher.
